ICU Multidisciplinary Rounding Prototype App
This app was developed for the top state hospital as a proof-of-concept for a new collaboration paradigm in their ICU teams.
The main goal and vision was to reduce in-person change-of-shift meetings involving doctors coming and going out of shift from 1 hour to zero.
In place of the meeting, incoming doctors got up-to-date on patients by checking updates and patient evolution on their devices while doing their first multidisciplinary rounding immediately after coming in shift.
They also had easy access to plans and pending tasks left by previous shifts, better doctor-nurse communication with both using the same app, and generally more efficient patient management.

Initial results were promising, and the technology solid.
App rollout was suspended with the start of COVID pandemic, though, and never resumed.
